HARDSCAPE AWARDS 2023 ENTRY FORM 

The 2023 ICPI Southwest Hardscapes Association Awards will recognize outstanding hardscape projects. Awards will be given to the material  manufacturer, the material supplier and the hardscape installer.

 

ELIGIBILITY 

  • Hardscape products must be the predominant component. 
  • Projects must be completed within the states of Arizona or New Mexico, or in Clark County, Nevada,  between January 1, 2018 and September 1, 2023. 
  • Projects that have not won may be resubmitted. 
  • At least one of the companies involved must be an Southwest Hardscapes Association member.
  • There is no limit to the number of projects entered per company. 

CATEGORIES 

There will be a First Place and Second Place award in each category or as decided by awards committee.

  • Residential Driveways Under 3,000 sq.ft.: Must have concrete pavers as main aspect of hardscape
  • Residential Driveways Over 3,000 sq.ft.: Must have concrete pavers as main aspect of hardscape 
  • Residential Patios/Courtyards/Entryways Under 1,000 sq.ft.: Must have concrete pavers as main aspect
  • Residential Patios/Courtyards/Entryways Over 1,000 sq.ft.: Must have concrete pavers as main aspect
  • Swimming Pools Residential - Concrete Pavers: Must have concrete pavers as main aspect of hardscape
  • Swimming Pools Residential - Specialty: Any hardscape material other than concrete pavers
  • Swimming Pools Commercial: Any hardscape material can be submitted 
  • Specialty Paving Over 1,000 sq.ft.- Residential: Any hardscape material other than concrete pavers
  • Specialty Paving Under 1,000 sq.ft.- Residential: Any hardscape material other than concrete pavers
  • Specialty Paving- Commercial: Any hardscape material other than concrete pavers
  • Segmental Retaining Walls - Commercial 
  • Segmental Retaining Walls - Residential 
  • Commercial under 10,000 sq.ft.: Any hardscape material can be submitted 
  • Commercial over 10,000 sq.ft.: Any hardscape material can be submitted 

JUDGING CRITERIA 

Overall judging criteria will include design, workmanship and creativity. The Southwest Hardscapes Association Chapter recognizes the professionalism and expertise of the individual jurors. The Chapter encourages as well as supports the jury’s discretion in its choice of projects. The decision of the jury will determine the award received. A single outstanding project, as selected by the jury, to receive the Chapter’s Choice Award. This project can come from any of the above CATEGORIES LISTED ABOVE. The Southwest Hardscapes Association Chapter may use all entries for promotional purposes. 

AWARDS BANQUET 

Awards will be presented at the Hardscape Awards 2023 Banquet on November 3rd.

All awards submitted need to be anonymous, for judging purposes.  If you indicate the contractor, dealer or manufacturer, in the project description text area your submittal score will automatically be deducted the maximum amount (5 points) by the judges.
